Today marks the beginning of an incredible journey as our team embarks on a mission trip to Africa. Months of preparation have led to this moment, and the excitement in the air is palpable. With bags packed and hearts full of anticipation, we’re ready to step into all that’s in store.
As we gear up to share the excitement of the work we’re doing in country each day, we figured it’s a great time to introduce the team! Meet the impactful nine:

Travel days are always an adventure of their own, and this one is no different. From navigating bustling airports to finding ways to pass the time on long (very long) flights, we’ve already shared plenty of laughs and bonded over the journey ahead. Each of us carries a sense of purpose, knowing that this trip is about more than travel—it’s about making an impact and serving alongside local communities.
As we settle into the rhythm of travel, we’ve taken time to reflect on what lies ahead. The projects we’ll be part of, the people we’ll meet (or for some of us, the familiar faces we’ll see), and the lessons we’ll learn are all waiting for us on the other side of these flights. It’s humbling to think about the privilege we have to partner with organizations like Children’s Cup and witness the amazing work happening in the places we’ll visit.
We’re also reminded that this journey isn’t just about what we’ll give but what we’ll gain. New perspectives, deeper connections, and a renewed sense of purpose are gifts we know we’ll carry home with us.
